I was sent the very same goodies they used backstage on models’ hair at the Christopher Kane AW 2012 show and, following their brief, enlisted my ‘cool, nonchalant and youthful’ friend to see what happened when we used all the products; namely:
1) Catwalk by TIGI Your Highness Root Boost. This just sprays in directly on damp hair at the roots and, with a bit of rubbing, discourages flatness.
2) Catwalk by TIGI Session Series Dry Shampoo. A product not wholly unlike Batiste’s classic dry shampoo but a touch less white when sprayed on. It worked really well on her blonde hair to highlight the slightly darker roots and add volume.
3) Catwalk by TIGI Session Series Work It Hairspray. I liked this. A Elnett lady myself, I felt this gave a similar effect in terms of hold and invisibility but had a really pleasant scent. The only con? It was a little hard to brush out, so use this only if you want big hair all night.
