Mads About Town

Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo

Regular readers will know I’m in an advanced state of obsession with Liz Earle’s products. I would love to say the ethics have me enthralled, but I am afraid to say it is merely my selfish excitement at their efficacy which really has me going back for more.

When I went to buy the Botanical Shine Shampoo, I started going into a lengthy saga about the woes I was having with my hair, and how it didn’t quite fit into any of the usual categories haircare products group their customers into. I was met with a serene smile from the lady at the counter and the assurance that Earle has created one shampoo for all hair types.

Well I never. One for all when it comes to hair is really quite irregular. I only went ahead with the purchase because I have never been let down by Liz before and, well, £8.50 wasn’t going to break the bank.

You know what I’m going to say now, don’t you? I loved it. So dearly. I now feel lost without it and, to illustrate just how silken it leaves locks of any ilk, my sister tried it once and immediately went out and bought two, so her hair would never be without even when she travelled.

This shampoo has a huge stamp of approval, and Earle yet another admiring nod from my quarters – as per usual this smells great, works hard, isn’t too dear and leaves you morally content. A must have.
