Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector

I wasn’t sure of this B.B. cream hype. But, people kept talking about it, so I deferred to an expert for advice and asked the brilliant make-up artist Victoria Barnes what she thought. She told me to dip my toes in with this instant skin fix.I thought it was a low risk experiment (£7.49 at Boots – bargain), and went straight out to buy.

I loved it. I would have paid double the price for what’s in this inauspicious tube.

It moisturises, lightly tints the skin, doesn’t irritate and has an SPF. It smells, and feels, divine. I’ve used it under foundation (surprisingly, it doesn’t make foundation look too thick – the day I wore it out under my Hourglass foundation the founder of the brand, Carisa, complimented my skin – high praise indeed), and prior to going to the gym to boost my complexion.

If you have pretty good skin but want to pop something on before work to even it out tone and, more importantly, protect it a little from the elements, this is your product. It also will give you a brilliant glow under any other skin coverage.

I may have to delve a little deeper into this B.B. business…
