Here’s my chat with the lovely founder, Maria:
MF: The Rodial philosophy of results without cosmetic surgery has marked the company out in the beauty industry. Did you intend for that to be the case from the very start?
MH: Of course! I definitely wanted to bring something different to the market and when working as a beauty writer at Seventeen magazine I realised there was a real need for an effective alternative to surgery. My idea for Rodial was born from this and the rest is history!
MF: Your first product targeted body shape. The body-sculpting range is very well known – what is the secret to this success?
MH: We have a really solid base of products which are targeted to all different areas from bum lift to arm sculpt! Women feel strongly about certain areas of their body which they feel could be improved, for some its cellulite & others it’s a flabby tummy. With our products, there is something for every problem & that’s why it’s such a huge hit!
MF: You have a huge celebrity following – with it currently being awards season what products are particularly popular?
MH: I absolutely love awards season and of course it’s the time where celebrities want to look their best as there’s so much exposure. That’s why our brand new dragons blood sculpting gel is perfect for this time of year, it‘s a non-surgical alternative to celebrity-favourite filler restylane so it’s perfect for that instant volumising & plumping effect.
MF: I’m a huge fan of the Life & Style range. Are you planning to augment it?
MH: The Life&Style range was a huge success but all further plans are top secret for now!
MF: Finally, any exclusive gossip from Rodial?
MH: We have some great new treatments in the pipeline that are sure to a big hit in our spa destinations!
